Terrain Vague is a composition comprised entirely of manipulated field recordings, sonic encounters and room tones recorded during a residency at the New Theatre Institute of Latvia during June of 2018. As one iteration of a larger project, these compositions act as an abstraction of the sonic material gathered and aim at creating a collage of non-concrete, indefinite and vague impressions of the spaces encountered.
Terrain Vague is a project developed during a residency at the New Theatre Institute of Latvia as part of the Magic Carpets platform and was co-financed by the EU programme “Creative Europe”.
